School of Arts and Sciences | Pre-Engineering
An annual scholarship of $5000 or more from the Ohio Board of Regents is available to students admitted to the Pre-Engineering program at Ursuline College. Students complete their bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Chemistry or Biology at Ursuline while preparing for Cleveland State University's Fenn College of Engineering.
The Pre-Engineering program at Ursuline College offers the advantages of welcoming atmosphere, individualized attention in small classes that provide preliminary training for a career in engineering. Ursuline is the best place to start this degree where the care is taken to encourage especially women in this male-dominated field.
Through bridge programming with CSU, students have opportunities to enroll in on- and off-campus courses, virtual learning communities, mentoring, and research opportunities. CSU offers free tuition for CSU courses taken during summer. Master's degrees offered by CSU are environmental, chemical, biomedical, electrical, industrial, mechanical, civil, and software engineering. Following graduation from Ursuline the anticipated time to complete the Master's in engineering at CSU is 2 years.
