Dr. Yeager is an Assistant Professor and serves as the Director of the Health Resource and Simulation Center in the Breen School of Nursing and Health Professions. She earned a PhD from Villanova University M. Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing and both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing Education from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio.
Dr. Yeager’s clinical practice is in neonatal intensive care nursing, as a practicing RN in Ohio and a nurse educator for NICU programs in the Caribbean. Professional interests include: simulation, curriculum development, competency using clinical judgment/clinical reasoning, maternal/newborn health, and global health. Dr. Yeager participated in the 2023 cohort of the National League for Nursing’s Leadership Institute for Simulation Educators and she received the Ohio March of Dimes Nurse of the Year Award for Excellence as an Academic Educator 0-5 years in 2020.
