    Jim Connell, PhD is an Assistant Professor in the Educational Administration program. His primary areas of interests are curriculum development and leadership. Prior to coming to Ursuline College, Jim served for 35 years in public education, beginning his career as a high school English teacher at Beachwood High School and concluding his career at Berea City Schools where he served as Curriculum Director, Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent, prior to his retirement in 2005. He is a member of the Distribution Committee and an evaluator for the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation. Jim is also one of the co-founders of the Jennings Educators Institute and through the Institute has provided professional development for teachers and administrators throughout Ohio.
