Jenise M. Snyder earned a B.S. in Biology Education and M.S. in Biology from Florida International University, as well as a Ph.D. in Ecology from the University of California, Davis. At Ursuline, she teaches a variety of courses including Introductory Biology, Ecology, Human Environment, Clinical Microbiology and Water and Society. Students working with Dr. Snyder have been examining the effect of the restoration of Ursuline campus stream on water quality, as well as the effect of ecosystem management on decomposition following a tornado’s disturbance. Dr. Snyder is faculty advisor for the Green Organize in Action student organization.
