Dr. Johnson is an Assistant Professor in the Undergraduate Nursing Program. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Marshall University, her Master of Science in Nursing from Michigan State University with a focus on family nursing, and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Walsh University. Dr. Johnson bring over 20 years of clinical experience having practiced primarily in adult medical surgical, cystic fibrosis, and cardiac in West Virginia, Michigan, and Ohio. Professional interests include the role of nurses in early sepsis identification and innovative teaching learning practices. Personal interests include crafting and spending time with her family.
