Laura Church is a faculty member in the SDAP program at the Breen School of Nursing. She earned her BSN from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master's degree with a nursing education concentration from Kent State University. She also holds certifications for breastfeeding counseling and childbirth education. Mrs. Church has clinical experience in labor & delivery, postpartum, newborn nursery, women's health, and home care nursing. Professional interests include safe sleep promotion for infants and environmental interventions to optimize postpartum recovery and breastfeeding success. Personal interests include historic preservation, hiking, kayaking, and gardening.
