Dr. Adler is the Founding Director of the Physician Assistant Studies Program. Dr. Adler earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Toledo in 2009 and his Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Mount Union in 2011. He earned his Doctor of Education with an emphasis in Health Education from A.T. Still University in 2019 and is currently in the Doctor of Medical Science Program focusing on Education and Leadership. Dr. Adler was awarded the Don Pedersen Research Award in 2018 as a Co-Principal Investigator for Online Point-of-Care Ultrasound Training for Physician Assistant Students at Resource- Limited Institutions: A Pilot Study.
He has worked primarily at the Cleveland Clinic in Pulmonary, Critical Care Medicine and the Digestive Disease Institute where he is active for the inpatient consult service. Work interests include inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), gastrointestinal hemorrhage, and high-fidelity patient simulation in education. Personal interests include spending time with his family, friends, and pizza.
