Why did you choose Ursuline?
I chose Ursuline after the closure of my college (Notre Dame College) it was quite a difficult decision, and I was getting many mixed messages about what the next steps would be. I decided to take a tour of the campus, it was beautiful it kind of felt close-knit and like home. When I had a one-on-one meeting with kind woman from admissions, she reassured me this would not be the end and that Ursuline could be the place I call home. She was so kind and welcoming she opened about her life as well as I did. We exchanged contact information, but I still had other schools that I was considering. I did visit a few schools after that, but we were nearing the end of our semester and the college closing. In efforts to help students Notre Dame offered a college night at the school. I went around to different tables still exploring different options, but still unsure. I ran into the same woman at the table for Ursuline and I could not shake the feeling that Ursuline was just the right choice. Fast forward to now, I will be an Ursuline graduate, and I have been very pleased with my experience here.
Advice for future online learners
Keep going even when it is hard. Always challenge yourself. Be optimistic. Create relationships with other students in your class and your professors.
How did you manage all your responsibilities?
It was quite difficult to juggle all the obstacles I faced, but the professors are more than willing to work with you especially if you reach out and let them know of any difficulties you may be having. I do not remember a time when I reached out to professor and did not receive any support.
