Why did you choose Ursuline?
I transferred to Ursuline to be closer to my family and because its women focused.
How has your experience at Ursuline helped your career journey?
I think Ursuline expanded my vision of what I thought that I could do. I had a very narrow focus of what I thought I could do with my life and Ursuline helped me explore more options that are better suited to me.
What would you say to encourage a student to consider studying English at Ursuline?
Do it! It’s fun, you learn a lot, and the professors are knowledgeable and supportive.
What do you want to do next?
I’m thinking about either grant writing or getting a degree in either library science or a master’s in English.
Is there anything else you’d like to share about your experience as a student at Ursuline College?
I think because the English program is small it’s easier to get involved. For example, in INSCAPE or Sigma Tau Delta. You can really have a hand in what you’re doing.
