Dr. Katherine Jackson earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati, her M.A. degree in Expressive Psychotherapy from the University of Louisville, and her Ph.D. in Psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology in Palo Alto, California. Her emphasis in her doctoral research was dyadic relationships, human interconnectedness, exceptional human experiences, stress/anxiety disorders, and eco-psychology. Katherine has been a practicing psychotherapist and registered art therapist for over 20 years, and is currently in private practice at Beachwood Counseling Center. She has been teaching at Ursuline since 1993. Katherine created the Service Learning Program and is currently the Thesis Coordinator. She is a member of the American Counseling Association, Ohio Counseling Association, Association for Counselor Educators and Supervisors, American Mental Health Counselor Association, and American Art Therapy Association.
