A total of 38 graduate credit hours of Educational Administration coursework is required to obtain a license to be a school principal. This requirement includes the earning of a Master’s degree. Candidates who already possess a Master’s degree may have courses transferred toward the principal licensure.

Federal regulations require institutions to disclose to prospective and current students certain information about Gainful Employment Programs. A "Gainful Employment" program is a certificate program that leads to gainful employment in a recognized occupation. Ursuline College currently offers some certificate programs that meet the Gainful Employment definition.
