Make your world more caring, just, and effective by earning your bachelor’s in social work (BSW) degree online.
If you are a working adult who feels called to advocate for and serve others in a meaningful way, the online social work program may be for you. You can complete your bachelor's degree and prepare for licensure without quitting your current job. Plus, you'll experience a collaborative, flexible, and challenging curriculum and a sense of community in each class.
Because the online BSW program is fully accredited by the Ohio Department of Higher Education and the Council on Social Work Education, graduates have the option of advanced placement in a master’s degree program, having earned up to 15 credits of graduate-level work within the bachelor's in social work program. Learn more about Ursuline College's social work accreditation and licensing. View the Council on Social Work Education’s Commission on Accreditation assessment summary here.
In addition to the 15-week semesters in the BSW program, students are individually matched with agencies and organizations for field work in their local communities.
The Social Work Program offers both online and in-person course options for completing your degree. Learn more.
