You love fashion and the statements that well-designed apparel communicates. In the undergraduate fashion design degree program at Ursuline, you'll learn and practice all the essential aspects of design, including:

    • Inspiration
    • Illustration
    • Fundamental pattern making
    • Sewing
    • Drafting
    • Draping

View the 2021 virtual Fashion Show here.

Our facilities include CAD, 3-D printing, work stations with color printers, scanners, Adobe Creative Cloud programs (Illustrator, Photoshop), and access to online fashion resources. You'll also work with sewing, industrial sewing, and cover stitch machines, multi-thread sergers, industry-standard pattern drafting tables, and standard Wolf dress forms. You'll also have rare, hands-on access to a 4,000-piece Historic Costume Study Collection, featuring apparel and accessories dating back to the Civil War.
