Dr. Lisa Damour on Building Strength and Resiliency: Strategies for Busy Women

Feeling spread thin? Psychologist and bestselling author Dr. Lisa Damour has wisdom to share. Join us at Ursuline College on Monday, March 2, at 7:00 p.m. in Daley Hall for her talk, “Building Strength and Resiliency: Strategies for Busy Women.”
Dr. Damour will address the needs of women who feel spread thin by the demands of home, school, work, or all of the above. She'll provide strategies for managing stress effectively and for building and preserving energy. In addition, she will lay out effective approaches that women can take to protect and prioritize their time.
Dr. Damour is the Ursuline College Women’s Center's 2020 Stars Among Us speaker.
A New York Times columnist, and regular contributor to CBS News, Dr. Damour is a popular local speaker who blends years of experience with the latest research developments to provide sound, practical guidance to children and adolescents as well as their parents, teachers, and advocates. Her books include "Under Pressure: Confronting the Epidemic of Stress and Anxiety in Girls," and "Untangled: Guiding Teenage Girls Through the Seven Transitions into Adulthood,” both New York Times bestsellers.
