The New Masters 2: Women Artists of Northeast Ohio
November 6, 2020 12:00pm - January 29, 2021 5:00pm
Ursuline's Florence O’Donnell Wasmer Gallery re-opens in a new space on Nov. 6 with “The New Masters 2: Women Artists of Northeast Ohio,” which will be on view from November 6, 2020 through January 29, 2021.
Guest juror Mary Urbas, director and curator of The Gallery at Lakeland Community College, will select seven works for $2,800 in cash prizes.
You may view the "New Masters" exhibition online, starting Nov. 6, at 6:00 p.m. on the College’s Flickr site at flickr.com/photos/ursulinecollege/albums.
Limited opportunities for in-person viewing on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, between noon and 5:00 p.m., are by appointment only. Email Gallery Director Anna Arnold at aarnold@ursuline.edu.
This exhibition was made possible by the residents of Cuyahoga County through a public grant from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture, and by funding from the Ohio Arts Council, Glenmede, and generous alumnae and friends of the College.
This year we celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Wasmer Gallery, which opened in 1980 and was named in gratitude for the generosity and vision of the late Florence (O’Donnell) Wasmer and John C. Wasmer.
