Women's Equality Day Fair
August 26, 2019 from 11:00am - 6:30pm
On Monday, August 26, 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and again from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m., help us kickoff Ohio's suffrage centennial initiative and celebrate 99 years of the 19th Amendment, which extended to women the right to vote.
"The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex." Passed by Congress June 4, 1919. Ratified by the Ohio legislature on June 16, 1919. Ratified on 18 August 1920. Ratification certified by U.S. Secretary of State Bainbridge Colby on August 26, 1920.
