On Thursday, April 30, two members of The Breen School of Nursing faculty were recognized and given awards from the Northeast Ohio Nursing Initiative (NEONI). The inaugural Rising Star Award was given to Kimberly Dillon-Bleich, MSN, RN, CNE, who is the Specialty Level Coordinator for the BSN program. Dillon-Bleich was recognized for both her scholarship and her involvement in the greater nursing community of Ohio.
In addition, The Breen School of Nursing Dean, Dr. Patricia Sharpnack, DNP, RN, CNE, NEA-BC, ANEF, was presented with the Legacy Award. This award acknowledges the amazing impact she has made in the Ohio nursing community through her work in academia and the many nursing organizations and boards on which she serves.
