On Friday, May 13th, Ursuline College’s Adult Program (UCAP) hosted the induction ceremony for the Alpha Sigma Lambda and Psi Chi Honor Societies. Sr. Christine De Vinne served as the keynote speaker for the ceremony.
The College congratulates the following students as new inductees into the Alpha Sigma Lambda and Psi Chi Honor Societies: David Hanna, Elizabeth Manning, May Burl, Laurel Yuratovac, Stefanie Dumperth, Aimee Pearce, Veronica Ukotic (not pictured).
Alpha Sigma Lambda (ASL) is a national honorary society that celebrates the scholarship and leadership of adult students in higher education. The founder, Dr. Posey, felt it was important to be able to honor dedicated adult students who successfully handle their life responsibilities while maintaining high scholastic standards.
Psi Chi is an international honor society whose purpose shall be to encourage, stimulate, and maintain excellence in scholarship of the individual members in all fields, particularly in psychology, and to advance the science of psychology.
