Suzanna Schroeder-Green has been promoted to director of the Ralph M. Besse Library at Ursuline College, where she has worked for 11 years as the head of library electronic and media services. During that time, Schroeder-Green has managed the media services department and served as lead implementer for OhioLINK and Innovative Interfaces electronic services.
“The Library is a focal point of our campus which makes it an honor to be named to this position,” Schroeder-Green said. “I look forward to further developing services and resources vital for today's college student.”
Prior to coming to Ursuline, Schroeder-Green worked as a library director at Brown-Mackie College in North Canton, and has worked at Cuyahoga, Lakeland, and Northwest State community colleges.
She holds a master’s degree in library and information science from Kent State University, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Lourdes College.
“We are very excited that Suzy is taking on this new role, just as the College is about to launch a new Strategic Plan,” said Kathryn M. LaFontana, PhD, vice president for academic affairs. “The library plays a critically important role in moving the College forward, and I am confident that Suzy will lead this effort with skill and insight.”
Schroeder-Green succeeds Betsey Belkin, who retired last spring after 37 years at Ursuline.
