Ursuline trip explores Germany, France, Switzerland in summer 2020

    June 6, 2019

The travel agency Pro Catholic Tours has created an Ursuline College package tour of Germany, with stops in France and Switzerland, for June 23 through July 04, 2020. Ursuline alumnae/i, faculty, staff, friends and admirers are invited to join Ursuline College President Sister Christine De Vinne, OSU, PhD, for this 12-day exploration of the some of Europe’s most memorable holy and secular sites.

The group will tour the charming and historic cities of Cologne, Trier, Strasbourg, Constance, Fussen, Munich, and Oberammergau, where the group will watch the once-a-decade Passion Play that draws audience members from all over the world.

“Pro Catholic Tours has assembled a wonderful package for us, with opportunities to see the oldest church in Germany, Gutenberg's first Bible, and the elaborate Neuwschwanstein Castle,” said Richard Konisiewicz, vice president for institutional advancement. “All the important details, from transportation and reservations to highly educated guides, are provided for in this tour.”

    The package includes:

    • Flights from anywhere in the U.S.
    • Airport taxes, security fees, and fuel surcharges (saving each traveler $400-$600)
    • 4 or 5 star hotels in downtown areas
    • Luxury bus transportation
    • All breakfasts and all dinners; wine included with all dinners
    • Guided tours and tour fees for licensed, well-educated guides
    • Tips to driver, hotel, and tour guide (supplemental tips for excellent guides are appreciated)
    • Luggage handling

The cost is $5,999. Read more about the itinerary and what the trip includes and reserve your space today with a $500 deposit. Please note that the Ursuline College tour with Sister Christine is the June 23-July 4 tour. Questions should be directed to Pro Catholic Tours at 612.730.2890 or www.procatholictours.com.
