Ursuline's Breen School of Nursing again ranked in top 10% nationally

    October 15, 2019

Ursuline College’s nursing program has been ranked #2 out of 22 colleges in Ohio and #39 out of 518 schools nationwide. This 2020 ranking, released recently by College Factual, puts Ursuline’s Breen School of Nursing in the top 5% of all programs in the state and in the top 10% of all programs in the U.S.

Nationally, Ursuline College improved its position 12 slots over College Factual’s 2019 ranking of 51. The College achieved its #2 ranking in Ohio for the second consecutive year.

“This ranking by College Factual reflects the accomplishment and dedication of our faculty, our commitment to preparing students to competently transition to professional nursing using evidence-based practice, and the strength of our partnerships with some of the world’s best hospitals,” said Patricia Sharpnack, DNP, RN, CNE, NEA-BC, ANEF, FAAN, dean of the Breen School of Nursing.

“Ursuline nursing students benefit from a rigorous, thorough education, personal attention, and strong mentoring relationships,” said Dr. Sharpnack. “Our graduates are well known as competent and compassionate nurses and are in high demand locally and nationally.”
