Work-Study Students:
We have received clarification from The Department of Education that “when a school moves all classes to an online format via distance education for the remainder of a semester, students in the work study program can continue to be paid for the hours they were scheduled to work.” We are currently in the process of contacting your area supervisor(s) to provide us with your work-study scheduled hours for March, April, and May.
At this time if you have any timesheets from current or prior months that you have not turned in, please do so immediately. Do not worry about obtaining your supervisor’s signature. It is preferred that you either scan or take a cell phone picture of your timesheets and email them directly to me at asandi@ursuline.edu.
After receiving the timeslips you submit directly to us and your scheduled work hours from your supervisor(s), we will evaluate your remaining work-study eligibility with the hours submitted. You will be paid for all scheduled hours up to your maximum work study limit. We will notify you once we have everything completed and payroll is processed. For those who have previously set up direct deposit, your paycheck will be deposited to your account. All other students will have paychecks mailed to their home address.
We will keep you updated as we move through the process. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Financial Aid Office.
Sincerely,
Angela Sandi
