A Message from the Bursar's Office
We know that these are anxious times for everyone. It is with that in mind that we say thank you for your patience while we in the Ursuline College Business Office have been working on a solution related to prorating housing and meal plans for the spring semester. The housing and meal plan adjustments have been tailored for each of you based on your unique situation. With varying types of housing arrangements and meal plans, we wanted to take the necessary time to develop an equitable solution.
Credits for housing and meal plans, where applicable, will be reduced by any aid that limited out-of-pocket expenses. The out-of-pocket expenses will be prorated based on the 8 remaining weeks in the semester starting March 15, 2020 through May 9, 2020. In some cases where housing or a meal plan was completely covered, a credit will not be provided. All credits for housing and meal plans will be applied first to balances that currently exist on accounts for the spring 2020 semester. If a credit balance remains, it will be applied to the student’s fall semester costs. For students who are graduating, a refund, where applicable, will be sent in the form of a check to the address on file with the college.
By April 30, 2020 you will receive an email, as well as a physical letter via U.S. mail, that communicates your specific information with regard to your credit.
Thank you and stay safe and healthy!
