A Message from Kathryn M. LaFontana, PhD, Vice President for Academic Affairs
Given that we expect ice and freezing rain later this evening, February 17, 2022, we have made the decision to make all on-campus learning virtual as of 5:00 p.m. Classes are virtual for this evening only; our expectation is to return to normal scheduling tomorrow morning, February 18, 2022. If this changes, another notice will be sent.
Please note that the College remains open even though classrooms are closed. If power outages make it impossible to provide essential services, we will send out an update via the UrsAlert emergency notification system. Nursing students are still expected to report for clinical experiences. Library reference services will be available virtually until 8:00 p.m., although the library itself will be closed at 5:00 p.m. this evening, February 17.
Ursuline instructors, please be in contact with your students to discuss expectations for specific classes. Students, please communicate with your instructors if you have any concerns or challenges.
