Timothy D. Clymer, CPA, MBA, has joined the Ursuline College’s leadership team as Vice President for Finance and Administration. He oversees the Business Office, Human Resources, Facilities, and IT.
Clymer comes to Ursuline from the City of Aurora, where he served as Finance Director for six years. There, he managed all major fiscal activities for the city, including preparation and monitoring of a $48 million operating and capital budget.
From 2010 to 2019, he served two consecutive, elected terms as clerk/treasurer of the Village of Brooklyn Heights. He was elected by more than 200 of his peers to serve on the nine-person Board of Trustees of the Regional Income Tax Agency (RITA).
Clymer has been a CPA since 2009, with his MBA from Cleveland State University and his bachelor’s in business from John Carroll University.
“Ursuline College embodies the world in which we live, with its strong values in women-centered learning, inclusiveness, and diversity,” Clymer said. “I was drawn to this opportunity with Ursuline College because of its culture and the opportunity to leave a positive impact on over a thousand student lives each year. I am beyond excited to serve this historic institution as we embark upon our next 150 years.”
