With more people working and learning remotely, Ursuline College redesigned its Master of Business Administration (MBA) program to be fully online for maximum flexibility. Classes begin this fall.
In 12 months, students can earn this in-demand degree to grow their careers and personal brands with new professional knowledge, skills, and confidence. Classes are taught in an asynchronous format. A slower-paced, part-time option is also available.
“In April 2023, Forbes noted that an MBA is more relevant than ever,” explains MBA Program Director Mary Kovach, PhD. Whether your undergraduate degree is in business, healthcare, or even fashion, you’re afforded more earning power with an MBA. It will help you establish your own business or advance your current career.
She continues, “With the asynchronous format, graduate students can attend classes at their convenience--before work, during lunch, or in the evening. Regardless of the time of day, students will have access to professors to answer questions and to mentor them. They will also network with their classmates and other organizations.”
Dr. Kovach recently joined the Ursuline College faculty from Miami University, where she was an associate professor teaching in-person, online, and hybrid business courses.
“Ursuline College already offers a dozen online undergraduate, graduate, and certificate programs,” she notes. “The redesigned MBA program builds on this expertise.”
Dr. Kovach is the author of the award-winning best-sellers #MINDSET: A Research-Based Approach to Understanding Motivation and ROCKSTAR Manager: From Theory to Practice. She also published numerous peer-reviewed articles and is on the International Editorial Board for The Journal of Values Based Leadership. Her YouTube channel, entitled Dr. K – The Management Professor, offers free business advice and has more than 230,000 views.
“Ursuline has taken the best of our IACBE-accredited MBA program and updated it to meet the needs of professionals in today’s market,” states Jenise M. Snyder, PhD, dean of Arts, Sciences and Professional Studies. “This program embodies our mission to prepare our graduates for positions of leadership, service and professional excellence.”
Students can enroll now for classes beginning August 21. There are five additional start dates throughout the year.
