    As a new student at Ursuline, you'll be placed in a double room with a roommate. The Office of Residence Life will match you as closely as possible with a roommate whose lifestyle and interests are compatible with yours, based on your responses on the Room Placement Survey.

    Each residence hall room has the following standard accommodations:

    • Ethernet connections to the campus network
    • Connection to the wireless internet network
    • Smoke detector
    • 1 twin bed (standard, not extra-long) per resident
    • Closets or standing wardrobes
    • 1 dresser per resident
    • 1 desk per resident
    • 1 desk chair per resident

    Murphy Hall

    • Murphy Hall can accommodate up to 50 Students. There are 20 double rooms on the second and third floors and 10 single rooms on the first floor
    • Bedroom size is approximately 11'x 15'
    • Two Resident Assistants (RA's) live in the building
    • First year students are assigned to a double room with a roommate
    • The ten single rooms available on first floor for are reserved for upper-class students
    • At least 1 Ethernet port is available in each room for connection to the internet and the Ursuline College Network.
    • Wireless access points are installed in various rooms throughout the hall making WIFI connection simple for residents. Connect to UCGUEST.
    • Cable TV is available in the common lounge areas.
    • Community bathroom facilities for female residents available on all three floors
    • A community kitchen is located on the first floor with full refrigerator, stove, oven and microwave available.
    • Local telephone service is available in each room without charge. Residents required to supply their own telephone.
    • Coin-operated washers and dryers are located on the first floor.
    • Small computer lab with access to a printer is located on third floor.
    • Rooms on the third floor only are carpeted. First and second floors have vinyl tile.
    • All double rooms come equipped with a twin bed, desk, desk chair and closet space for each roommate.

    Ursuline college murphy hall

    Grace Hall

    • Grace Hall can accommodate up to 118 students.
    • The designated male residence wing is located on the 2nd floor of Grace Hall
    • Bedroom size is approximately 10'x 14'
    • Four resident assistants live in the building
    • First year students are assigned to a double room with a roommate
    • Housing is available for male students on the second floor. Male residents also share a community bathroom on the second floor
    • At least 1 Ethernet port is available in each room for connection to the internet and Ursuline College Network.
    • Wireless access points are installed in various rooms throughout the hall making connecting to WIFI simple.
    • Local telephone service is available in each room. Residents are required to supply their own telephone.
    • Cable TV is available in the common lounge areas.
    • Community bathroom facilities for female residents are available on second and third floors
    • Kitchen area with full refrigerator, freezer, oven, stove and microwave is located on the first floor. A game room lounge, coin-operated laundry facilities, and large formal lounge are also located on the first floor
    • Computer Lab with six work stations and printer is located on the third floor
    • Additional community lounge spaces are located on second and third floors
    • Rooms are not carpeted
    Ursuline college grace hall

    Smith Hall

    • Suite-style upper-class hall that can accommodate up to 64 students; there are 6 suites on each of 3 floors
    • Housing is available to junior and senior level undergraduate students and second-degree and graduate students, if space permits
    • Bedroom size is approximately 10'x 11'
    • Each suite has 4 private bedrooms; a bathroom; common living space with sofa, chair and coffee table. A kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, sink, a table and 4 chairs and cupboards. No stove in the suite
    • Each bedroom includes a dresser, standard twin bed, desk, chair, and small two-drawer movable file cabinet
    • Each suite has local phone service. Students are required to provide their own phone.
    • Cable TV is available in the common lounge areas.
    • Ethernet ports are available in each individual bedroom, and one port in the living room, for connection to the internet and Ursuline College Network.
    • Wireless access points are installed in various suites making WIFI connection simple for residents. Simply connect to UCGUEST.
    • There are coin-operated washer and dryer machines on the first floor and a snack machine
    • The third floor has a gathering area with TV, lounge furniture and a complete kitchen is adjacent to the TV areas.
    • A six-station computer lab is also located on the third floor with printer.
