Expand your knowledge without the pressure of assignments or tests
The Lifelong Learning program at Ursuline College is a non-credit program that allows adults over 60 to expand their knowledge and enjoy a virtual or classroom learning experience in a curated field of offerings without the pressure of assignments or tests and at a discounted cost.
Class participation is highly encouraged for all students, but all are asked to respect the opinions of others and to contribute favorably to the classroom atmosphere.
Lifelong Learner applicants may apply for most Arts & Sciences courses and will be admitted if room is available. Lifelong Learners may not take courses in the following programs: Nursing, Counseling and Art Therapy, Social Work, or Education.

Once registered, please stop by the Student Services Center, located in Mullen 203, during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., to obtain a photo ID. You will also need your ID to have access to Desire2Learn through this website. You'll scroll to the bottom of any page on this site and click D2L.
Lifelong Learners will have limited access to Besse Library services. You are permitted to take out up to four regular circulating items at a time for a two-week period.
The Office of the Registrar does not retain official records for Lifelong Learners. Requests for retroactive credit cannot be honored. If you need a class posted on an official Ursuline College transcript for certification or immigration purposes, you must take the course as an audit or for credit and pay the full tuition cost.
