A graduate of the BSN Program in the Breen School of Nursing and Health Professions will:
1. Synthesize concepts and theories from the arts, sciences and the discipline of nursing that enhance clinical practice, influence policy, and incorporate evidence-based practices using quality improvement strategies for optimal patient outcomes.
Junior: Apply concepts and theories from the arts, sciences and the discipline of nursing that enhance clinical practice, influence policy, and incorporate evidence-based practices using quality improvement strategies for optimal patient outcomes.
Sophomore: Recognize concepts and theories from the arts, sciences and the discipline of nursing that enhance clinical practice, influence policy, and incorporate evidence-based practices using quality improvement strategies for optimal patient outcomes.
2. Demonstrate accountability in the provision of compassionate, safe, effective, ethical, and holistic nursing care across the lifespan based on clinical judgments within the functional capacity of individuals, families, groups, and populations.
