The core is our commitment to offer a holistic education.
The heart of an undergraduate education at Ursuline College is the Ursuline Core Curriculum. Three common courses, in conjunction with courses from the School of Arts and Sciences, form the basis of a liberal arts education and serve as the foundation for all undergraduate majors the college offers.
The Ursuline Core Curriculum is designed to provide the breadth of a liberal arts foundation, while maintaining a commitment to our Catholic heritage. The Core Curriculum is aligned with our mission of offering a holistic education that transforms students for service, leadership and professional excellence by providing undergraduate and graduate programs that foster lifelong learning and personal wisdom in an environment characterized by:
Excel in academics and in life.
Learn, grow and cultivate these essential abilities as as educated person.
Develop perspectives and abilities essential to professional advancement and leadership.
Explore enlightening cultural and scientific ideas.
