Why did you choose Ursuline?
I originally chose Ursuline for Nursing but I chose to stay for English. I knew if I went anywhere else, I wouldn’t have the support I have here, and the connection with Dr. Trostel especially.
How has your experience at Ursuline helped your career journey?
It has shaped me into a better leader. I became more active in my community with opportunities in INSCAPE, Sigma Tau Delta, and as a student representative on the Women’s Advisory Board
What are your plans for after graduation?
I want to take time to figure out if I want to pursue a career immediately or go back to school for a graduate degree in Law or English.
What would you say to encourage a student to consider studying English at Ursuline?
Ursuline is great if you are looking for the opportunity to build connections. Your experience here is about more than being a student. You’re part of a community with students, instructors, and advisors. You can get involved on campus without feeling that you’re going to fall behind.
Is there anything else you’d like to share about your experience as a student at Ursuline College?
I enjoyed being a part of everything. I was active in many different areas, which I didn’t do before Ursuline.
