    Dr. Mary Kovach is an associate professor with nearly 20 years of collegiate teaching experience. She earned her Ph.D. from Miami University, an MBA from Cleveland State University, and a bachelor’s degree from Baldwin Wallace University.

    Prior to academia, Dr. Kovach had 15 years of demonstrated career growth and earned a variety of management awards at Fortune 500 companies, managing multimillion-dollar global business units and leading projects from inception to completion. In her corporate career, she earned a LEAN Six Sigma black belt (LSSBB) certification as well as multiple Agile certifications.

    Dr. Kovach is published in various scholarly journals and magazines and is also a blind peer reviewer to a variety of scholarly/academic journals. Furthermore, she was named to The Journal of Values Based Leadership’s International Editorial Board. Dr. Kovach developed her own YouTube channel entitled Dr. K – The Management Professor, where her show “ROCKSTAR Manager” initially aired on the In the Limelight TV channel on Binge Networks.

    In addition to teaching, she hosted the New York metropolitan area television show The Italian America Show for four seasons, and she continues to incorporate her Italian heritage into her research, exemplifying the work of Mother Cabrini as an ideal servant leader and highlights the accomplishments of other historical Italian women such as Dr. Maria Montessori and Dr. Rita Levi-Montalcini, among others.

    To date, Dr. Kovach authored four books including:

    #1 Best Seller Be Your Best You: A Research-Based Guide to Outstanding Leadership which earned ten #1 placements on Amazon during its release, placed #1 in HR & Employee Development category for Goody Business Book Awards and placed #1 Leadership book and #2 General Business and Motivation book for International Firebirds Book Awards;

    #1 Best Seller #MINDSET: A Research-Based Approach to Understanding Motivation which won six awards at the time of this publication, ROCKSTAR Manager: From Theory to Practice, and with her cousins Don’t Cut the Basil: Five Generations of Authentic Italian Recipes, a #1 international best-selling cookbook.

    One of her proudest accomplishments is sponsoring orphaned girls in Mexico and India for the last 15 years. She developed deep bonds through her regular visits and quarterly letters. All but one have successfully graduated out of the system; the last one is now working on admittance for her doctoral degree in India
