    Get Involved

As an Ursuline or St. John graduate, you are part of our history. We would love for you to stay involved.

    Join the Alumnae Board

The Alumnae Association is governed by an Alumnae Board, which establishes goals and plans programs and events for the Association and maintains communication with the membership. New members are installed in May. If you are interested in serving as a board member, please contact the Alumnae Office. All Ursuline and St. John College graduates are welcome to apply for membership on the board. Board members serve two year terms.

    Attend Ursuline Events

Throughout the year, you will be invited to numerous Ursuline events such as lectures, galas, gallery openings, and travel opportunities. To stay abreast of what's going on at Ursuline, join our monthly e-newsletter here.

    Become a Mentor

The Graduate Admission Office connects prospective students with alumnae/i of their program of interest to share their experiences. If you graduated from a master's degree program at Ursuline and are interested in serving as a mentor, please contact

    Share Career Insights with Students

To provide students with insight into the career world, the Career Services Office is facilitating CareerFIT Connections, virtual career conversations. These short-yet-intimate and authentic small-group sessions allow students to engage in organic conversations with alumni and other professionals in our community willing to share their experiences and provide insight into the world of work for women.

Please consider hosting one or more sessions as your schedule allows. Talk with students about what you wish you had known as you headed into your career, about the unwritten professional playbook, how to network, how to advance your career, how to present as a young professional, how to balance life and a career as a woman, finding your voice, overcoming imposter syndrome, or any topic you wish someone had shared with you. Interested? Please fill out the form here.

Share Ideas for All St. John Event

Responding to suggestions from many SJC alumnae, the Alumnae Association Board wants to initiate an annual, exclusively St. John event, an opportunity for all SJC alums and friends to come together once a year to celebrate all things SJC and lift up special reunion classes .

St. John grads alumnae and friends are invited to share ideas on what this annual celebration should entail. What should we know, share, do, and celebrate during this All St. John College gathering?

    • Complete the form on this page and in "Tell Us Your Information" please share any input you have on this celebration
    • Write to the Alumnae Office with your ideas, including your contact information so we know how to reach you. Mail to: Alumnae Office, Ursuline College, 2550 Lander Rd., Pepper Pike, 44124
    • Serve on a small, short-term advisory committee to share ideas and ways to make the gathering something the St. John College family would enjoy. This group will meet over Zoom a few times. Again, go to the above link to update your information and in the "Tell Us Your Information," let us know that you would like to be a part of this SJC committee.

    Volunteer at Local Nonprofits

Every fall, the Alumnae Association hosts the College's Make a Difference Day (formerly known as Volunteer Day), bringing together alumnae, students, trustees, faculty, and staff to serve the Greater Cleveland community through active participation in various agencies. We also encourage alumnae/i outside of the Cleveland area to participate by volunteering in their own communities.
