Our Faculty
Troy A. Clark is the department chair of the Mathematics Department. He earned a BS in mathematics at Marietta College (2012) and a MS in mathematics at John Carroll University (2014). He earned a PhD in pure mathematics at Case Western Reserve University (2020), under the direction of David A. Singer. His dissertation is titled “The Trefoil: An Analysis in Curve Minimization and Spline Theory.” His field of expertise is differential geometry with additional interests in number theory, cryptography, and the history of mathematics. His personal interests include cooking, television preservation (primarily game shows), British history, and collecting books.
