    Ursuline's healthcare degree programs allow you to put the care in your career.

    Career Starters

    Ursuline offers 12 undergraduate degree paths within the healthcare industry. Explore the list below to find the field and format options to kickstart your healthcare career.

    Art Therapy

    Art Therapy: This four-year bachelor's degree program, is one of two offered in Ohio. It is offered in-person, in a full-time, day format. Students can also bridge to our master's in Counseling & Art Therapy.

    Exercise Science

    Exercise Science: This four-year bachelor's degree program is offered in-person, in a full-time, day format and provides a foundation for fitness or allied healthcare careers. 

    Nursing

    BSN: This four-year undergraduate degree is an in-person, day format. And thanks to our 100% job placement rate, you hit the ground running in your new career!

    Secondary Degree Accelerated Program: Also referred to as an ABSN degree, this program is for bachelor degree holders who are looking to switch into a nursing career. It is offered in-person with two format options: full time 15-month and part time 24-month, so you can choose the pace that suits your needs.

    RN to BSN
    : This online, accelerated program is designed for RNs looking to advance their career by earning their BSN.

    Medical Laboratory Science

    Medical Laboratory Science: This program is a 3+1 partnership with the Cleveland Clinic School of Medical Laboratory Science, which prepares graduates for a career in the field of medical technology.

    Nutrition & Dietetics

    This new bachelor's degree program is a 4-year program in a hybrid format. Enrollment is estimated for Fall 2023.

    Pre-Medicine

    LECOM: Through this 4+4 Early Acceptance Program (EAP), ,qualified students gain acceptance to both Ursuline and LECOM to earn a seat in the medical, dental, or pharmacy professional programs.

    Pre-Medicine: Designed to support an interest in medicine, this program allows students to explore the natural sciences, while taking a sequence of prerequisites for admission to med school, and majoring in Biology, Chemistry, or Biochemistry.

    Pre-Pharmacy

    Pre-Pharmacy 3+4 Program: This program is a partnership with Duquesne University, where students earn a bachelor's in chemistry and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the accelerated pace of six or seven years.

    Social Work

    Ursuline offers a full-time, hybrid format, as well as an online, accelerated format to earn a bachelor's degree in social work. Explore both options:

    Are you looking to take the next step to grow your career? Check out Ursuline's nine healthcare degree program offerings designed to advance your career trajectory.

    Counseling & Art Therapy

    Counseling & Art Therapy: This master's degree is an in-person program, offered both full and part-time and meets the requirements for both counselor licensure in Ohio and art therapy credentials.

    Nursing

    MSN: Our Master of Science in Nursing program prepares you as an advance practice nurse, specializing in six available areas of study. This hybrid program is available to BSN holders in both full and part-time formats.

    RN to MSN: This graduate level program allows RNs to progress to advance level nursing in less time.

    Post-Master's Certificates: These certificates of completion allow ARPNs to expand their patient populations in six available areas of focus, and is open to students enrolled in the MSN program.

    DNP: This terminal degree program is available 100% online for MSN holders who wish to pursue careers in nursing practice, administration, and education.

    BSN to DNP Nurse Anesthesia: This innovative full-time, 36-month program, prepares baccalaureate-educated nurses to become nurse anesthetists and features a hybrid format with online coursework and in-person simulated and clinical learning experiences.

    BSN to DNP: This DNP track allows nurses with their bachelor's degree to earn a terminal degree online and in less time.

    Physician Assistant

    Physician Assistant: Earn a Master's of Medical Science in 24 months, with this in-person graduate program.

    Respiratory Care

    Respiratory Care: This two-year, 100% online program allows RRTs or CRTs with associate’s degrees to earn a bachelor's degree--the new industry standard by 2030.
