More program details
The Education programs at Ursuline College are accredited through the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). The programs are also approved by the Chancellor of the Ohio Department of Higher Education. The related standards from Specialty Professional Association (SPA) form the structural foundation for all key assessments for MAP.
These assessments are balanced to illustrate your competence in doing formal research and writing scholarly papers (APA style); interpreting educational literature; developing philosophical statements; demonstrating effective communications skills and presentations; exhibiting competence in state-of-the-art technologies; and designing and implementing curriculum reflecting current strategies for differentiation within the individual classroom.
You'll be required to assemble and keep on file at the College a culminating portfolio documenting compliance with standards that apply to your state of Ohio area of licensure.
