Ursuline’s 16-month superintendent licensure program is designed to prepare you, as a working school administrator, for leadership roles in central office administration. With a superintendent license, you may become a:
The program covers the mission and philosophy of Ohio public, parochial, and private education. You’ll learn in a cohort of principals or assistant principals from across the region, and build great connections in the process.
After completing a Master of Arts in Educational Administration degree and securing a principal’s license, you may pursue your superintendent license by completing an additional 12 credit hours. You must have covered all of the courses/topics outlined in Ursuline’s Principal Licensure program; if not, you may be required to complete additional courses.
The Education programs at Ursuline College are accredited through the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). The programs are also approved by the Chancellor of the Oho Department of Higher Education.
