Why I Chose Ursuline
I came to Ursuline to play soccer and double major in Mathematics and Business, focusing on actuarial mathematics. However, I soon realized that wasn’t the path I wanted to take. A socially conscious international business course convinced me to drop actuarial studies, add a minor in Psychology, and pursue business management focused on values.
Putting My Ursuline Degree to Work
I had the opportunity to learn about the nonprofit world as an intern at Regina Health Center, a nursing facility in Richfield, Ohio, run by the Sisters of Charity Health System. It was a very different experience from my previous internship with a private wealth management firm.
