Why I chose Ursuline
I chose Ursuline College for its Fashion Design program and the visiting student program it has with Fashion Institute of technology in New York City. Its curriculum, in both classroom studies as well as direct engagement with the fashion industry in New York City, was ideal.
Putting My Ursuline degree to work
My Ursuline training set the bar high and encouraged me to be the best that I could be. After I graduated from Ursuline and FIT, I stayed in New York City to work in the garment business. My goal was to be a junior sportswear designer and I’ve been doing this ever since. I’m the Design Director for the Derek Heart and Planet Gold labels for the Golden Touch Group.
