The undergraduate math program includes concepts and methods from data analysis to mathematical modeling and presents key ideas and concepts from a variety of perspectives. While you will take the required courses for the major, you will also experience mathematics from the perspective of another discipline, study at least one mathematical area in depth, and work independently or in a small group on a substantial mathematical project.

Mathematics majors at Ursuline also enjoy the unique opportunity to study in a womens-focused, student-centered liberal arts environment. You will explore subjects that challenge you to decide how you will use your math skills to make the world a better place. You will sharpen your skills in public speaking as well as your ability to take and use derivatives. You will write extensively and debate issues of justice, all while working to integrate your studies as a mathematician into the larger vision of your life that is continuing to unfold.
