Home / Admission / Transfer Admission / How to Apply
We’re here to make this transition as easy as possible.
To apply for transfer admission to Ursuline, submit the following:
We may request additional information from you as we review your application. For example, if you have fewer than 30 transferrable college credits, we’ll need your high school transcript. Ursuline is test-optional. However, if you are under age 23, you can elect to submit your ACT or SAT scores. If you are applying to the Breen School of Nursing from another nursing program, we’ll request a letter of good standing from your dean.
Once you apply for admission, log into your student portal to see the complete checklist of items required for your application and check the status of those items. We’ll also send you reminders periodically to let you know what we still need.
Once all required materials are received, you can expect to hear from us within two weeks.
Coursework from other regionally accredited institutions with a grade of C or better will usually be accepted as transfer credit.
Your GPA from other institutions does not transfer, but we do calculate your college GPA across all institutions attended. This GPA is used for admission and scholarship decisions.
Once you are accepted to Ursuline, you will receive an official transfer credit evaluation outlining how your prior credits have been applied to your degree program at Ursuline. Your Admission Counselor can provide you with an unofficial estimate of how your credits will transfer at any point in the process.
