Congratulations! You've been admitted to the Ursuline College Campus of Gannon University, but what happens next? Review the steps below to make sure your transition here goes smoothly. To check your personal progress on many of these steps, log into your Admitted Student Portal.

Submit your deposit. 

If you're ready to move forward with the next steps here, submit your Commuter Deposit ($100) here. Your deposit officially kicks things off at Ursuline! This deposit will be applied to your first tuition statement.

Submit your FAFSA.

Submit your FAFSA as early as possible to determine your grant and loan eligibility. To ensure Ursuline’s Financial Aid office receives your FAFSA, be sure to include Ursuline College on the ‘School Selection Page’ (code 003134). To verify that Ursuline's financial aid office has received your FAFSA, visit your Admitted Student Portal or contact Student Services at 440.646.8309.

Connect with your personal admission counselor to register for classes.

Check your technology requirements.

All students in online majors (UCAP) must have consistent access to a computer and internet to complete class assignments. Additionally, some majors require access to a webcam and a microphone for synchronous classes. Be sure to review our Technology Requirements for important information on computer operating system requirements and compatibility. Contact your admission counselor with any concerns about the technology requirements in advance of your first online courses.

Login to your accounts.

Within 72 hours of your deposit being received, you will receive instructions on how you can login to your Ursuline accounts. Once you've successfully logged in, be sure to regularly check your Ursuline accounts, especially your Ursuline email account, for important information. If you have difficulty logging into any of your Ursuline accounts, please contact our ITS department for assistance. 

Finalize your payment options. If using financial aid, upon completion of your FAFSA, you can expect to receive an award letter within 2-3 weeks.

• If you are using military benefits, contact our Associate Registrar at 440-646-8128 to ensure we have everything needed to process your benefits.
• If you will be paying out-of-pocket, and want to set up a monthly payment plan, contact our Financial Aid Office at 440-646-8312 to discuss your options.
• Complete any additional paperwork requested on your award offer (extra forms can be found here).
• If your employer offers tuition reimbursement, complete and submit the Employer Tuition Reimbursement Form before your classes start.

• Your first invoice will be emailed to your Ursuline email after you register for classes.

Explore external scholarship resources.

There are reputable local and national scholarship opportunities offered throughout the year. Be sure to check your email regularly for local scholarships opportunities with specific deadlines. UCAP/Online students will automatically get notified of scholarships as they become available. Below are some scholarship opportunities:

• College Now Greater Cleveland - scholarship opportunities open periodically throughout the year
• Fastweb
• Finaid
• Ohio Transfer Council (OTC) - scholarships typically open in February and May
• Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) - automatic $1500 yearly scholarship for PTK members who apply for one of Ursuline's online/UCAP programs in Business, Humanities, Psychology or Social Work. Must indicate PTK membership at the time of application for admission to be eligible.

If needed, arrange academic support services. 

Students with documented disabilities can connect directly with our Director of Disability Services, Beth Thompson, to arrange accommodations at Ursuline. 

Register for your personalized virtual orientation.

Your admission counselor will arrange with you your personalized orientation session to ensure you have a smooth transition to the Ursuline College Campus of Gannon University!

Submit your final official college transcripts to the Processing Center

• Submit all official transcripts – If you were admitted ‘provisionally,’ you’ll need to send us official undergraduate transcripts from ALL colleges and universities previously attended. Official transcripts must be sent directly to Ursuline and can be mailed to Ursuline College Campus (Attn: Processing Center 2550 Lander Rd., Pepper Pike, OH 44124)  or emailed to processingursuline@gannon.edu
• Additionally, after your official transcripts arrive, you will receive an official notification that your credit audit has been completed by our credit evaluator. 

Prepare for your first class.

• Order your textbooks. If you would like to use your financial aid funds to purchase your textbooks in Ursuline's e-bookstore, you'll need to see if you're eligible for a book voucher. Contact our Financial Aid Office at 440-646-8312 for your book voucher eligibility before purchasing your books in our ebookstore. You can also get your textbooks through a third party provider, the library or other online book retailers.

Access to your syllabi and course information via Desire2Learn (D2L) will occur 2 weeks prior to your class start date.

Complete any pre-assignments due on the first day of class.
