• Submit all your previous college and trade school transcripts. We can accept copies (unofficial transcripts) when you apply. • If transferring in less than 30 credit hours and/or have less than a cumulative GPA of 2.50, you will be required to submit the additional information:

Official transcripts can be sent electronically (e.g. Parchment, National Student Clearinghouse) or by U.S. Mail to:

As a transfer-friendly school, we want to award you as much transfer credit as possible. We encourage all students to schedule a personalized virtual advising appointment with us to help you map out your degree-completion journey at Ursuline. During your virtual advising session, we will show you how your credits will transfer, how many courses you will have to complete at Ursuline and any alternative credit options you can explore.

Coursework from other regionally accredited institutions with a grade of "C" or better will usually be accepted as transfer credit. We can accept up to 20 credits towards General Electives from trade/tech schools, the Military or non-regionally accredited institutions. Transcripts must be submitted to award any transfer credits.
Students who have a conferred associate degree from a regionally accredited institution, may be waived out of certain core courses and cultural designations. Additionally, students with a conferred associate degree can transfer courses (from the school where the associate degree was earned) with grades of "D-" or better for non-major courses (if not required for their majors) and General Electives. For our policies dictating transfer credits for students with associate degrees from regionally accredited institutions, our course catalog is available here.
Your GPA from other institutions does not transfer, but we do calculate your college GPA across all institutions attended. This GPA is used for admission decisions as certain UCAP/Online majors have minimum GPA requirements.
Soon after you are enrolled at Ursuline, you will receive an official transfer credit evaluation from the Registrars Office outlining how your prior credits have been applied to your degree program at Ursuline. We encourage all students to schedule an advising appointment to get an unofficial evaluation of their transfer credits as soon as possible.
