Home / Inside Ursuline / Employment
Ursuline College is committed to building a dynamic, collaborative, and inclusive workplace. Our success depends on the efforts of a diverse community of individuals committed to working together in our tradition of excellence and service.
Our mission in the Human Resources Office at Ursuline College is to treat each colleague and visitor as a valued member of the college community by providing consistent and quality service, while supporting the initiatives of the College. We are responsible for recruiting, employee benefits, compensation and performance management, employee relations, and recognition programs.
The Human Resources Office partners with other areas of the College to seek outstanding and diverse faculty and staff who value the College’s mission. Ursuline College is an Affirmative Action, Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and seeking applications from underrepresented groups. Nearly one third of the students at Ursuline (including 28% of the graduate student population) are members of historically underrepresented minorities, and we seek to have diversity among our faculty and staff as well.
Together, our employees promote and live out the Mission of Ursuline College.
The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act) Notice for Prospective Employees
The Clery Act mandates that Ursuline College notify prospective employees of the existence of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Reports (Clery Reports), what is in the Reports, and where to obtain them. As a College, we must comply with the Clery Act. This means we must supply the following summary statement to all prospective employees.
Summary Statement
With recent amendments to The Student Right to Know and Campus Security Act of 1990 (re-named the Clery Act), we are now able to publish our campus safety information for the College community via the World Wide Web. The Ursuline College Annual Security report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings owned or controlled by Ursuline College; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security and police, such as policies concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault and other matters. Additionally, the Annual Fire Safety Report includes information on fire safety systems for resident housing, fire drill procedures, resident housing policies on electrical appliances, smoking and open flames, policies for fire safety education and training programs, and fire reporting. You will find the College’s Clery Reports on the College website (links below) or you can obtain a copy by contacting the College’s Director of Compliance at 440-484-7027.
