Assistant Athletic Trainer

Summary
Responsible for preventing, evaluating, treating, and rehabilitating injuries of the student-athletes. Ursuline College is a member of NCAA Division II and the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) and offers 15 intercollegiate athletic programs. This is a full-time position which is available immediately and reports to the Head Athletic Trainer.
Responsibilities
Duties include (not limited to): assigned sport coverage, minimum travel – occasional off-campus practices, injury prevention and evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and various administrative duties, including documentation. Adhere to and follow all NCAA Division II and conference rules, regulations, and bylaws.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s preferred; NATABOC certification or eligible by start date; Ohio Licensed or eligible by start date; Current Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS). At least 1 year of related experience, preferably in higher education. Demonstrated experience working in an inclusive environment. Must have a valid driver’s license, a good driving record and the ability to drive vans. Commitment to high standards of character as well as a commitment to student-athlete success both academically and athletically.
