    Associate Director of Admissions

    Summary

    The Ursuline College Campus of Gannon University seeks an experienced enrollment professional to serve as an Associate Director of Admissions.

    This position is responsible for recruiting prospective students, primarily throughout Northeast Ohio, to undergraduate programs while also supporting significant administrative functions within the Office of Admissions. Responsibilities include planning small-group campus visits; assisting with open house and other admission events; training and supporting admission counselors; coordinating counselor travel; assisting with admission marketing materials; and overseeing counselor activity and reporting within Slate, the customer relationship management (CRM) system. This position is full-time, on-campus, reporting to the Director of Undergraduate Admission.

    Responsibilities

    • Recruit prospective students for undergraduate programs within an assigned territory, primarily in Northeast Ohio.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with prospective students, families, high school counselors, community organizations, and other constituents.
    • Plan and coordinate small group campus visits and assist with open house and other admission events.
    • Support the training, coaching, and professional development of admission counselors.
    • Coordinate counselor travel and recruitment schedules.
    • Assist with the development and implementation of admission marketing materials and communications.
    • Monitor counselor activity, reports, and recruitment data in Slate.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
    • A minimum of 3 to 4 years of admissions or student recruitment experience required.
    • Experience at a small, private liberal arts institution preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an inclusive and diverse community.
    • Excellent interpersonal, written communication, presentation, and public-speaking skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
    • Experience with Technolutions’ Slate CRM preferred.
    • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.
    • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
