Career success requires key professional skills that aren’t typically taught in college classrooms. At Ursuline, our Career FIT program enables you to earn certification in the professional skills employers say they’re looking for in new hires.
It starts with an assessment of your strengths, interests, aptitudes, work values, and passions. Next, you sit down with your personal Career Coach to unpack the results of that assessment. Together, you’ll discuss your match to an in-demand career and map out an educational and internship path to get there.
Next step, you’ll complete online modules to earn certification in up to five key professional skills – providing the proof employers say they want!
The research is clear: employers want their new hires to have nationally recognized certification in key professional skills. Through Ursuline’s Career FIT partnership, you’ll enroll in at least two – or as many as five – online professional skills certification courses. Successfully complete these modules and earn certification in:
• Self Management
• Communicating Clearly
• Working on Teams
• Thinking on your Feet
• Problem Solving/Problem Identification
