Dr. Long is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies and is the Coordinator of Clinical Residency and Clinical Medicine for the Physician Assistant Program. Dr. Long earned an Associate of Applied Science as a Surgeon’s Assistant from Cuyahoga Community College in Parma, Ohio in 1997, and went on to obtain a Master of Science degree from A.T. Still University Arizona School of Health Science in Mesa, Arizona in 2019, he then went on to complete the Doctor of Medical Science with a focus in education from the A.T. Still University Arizona School of Health Science in Mesa, Arizona in 2021. Dr. Long has been a physician assistant for nearly 25 years, working primarily in Emergency Medicine and Surgery. Personal interests include spending time with his family, bicycle riding, and umpiring baseball for the Ohio High School Athletic Association and Ohio Hot Stove Baseball, where he has been a volunteer for over 40 years.
