    Scholarships for Transfer Students

    Ursuline College offers scholarships to full-time and part-time transfer students based on academic performance.

    Ursuline is proud to award up to $20,000 per year in scholarships. The following scholarships are awarded based on application for admission to the College to students working toward their first bachelor’s degree. Scholarships are awarded until August 1 for the fall semester and January 1 for the spring semester. These scholarships apply to any student enrolled in a degree-seeking undergraduate program, excluding UCAP.

    Full-Time and Part-Time Transfer Scholarships


    Ursuline College Full-Time Transfer Scholarships

    • Renewable for a total of three years as long as recipient maintains full-time enrollment, remains in good academic standing (at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA) and is working toward their undergraduate degree.
    • Awards are based on transfer GPA. The GPA is calculated on academic courses taken from each accredited institution attended. Consideration will be given to the college-level curriculum the student has taken.

    Ursuline College Part-Time Transfer Scholarships

    • Renewable as long as recipient is making continuous progress towards a bachelor’s degree while maintaining good academic standing. Students must take a minimum of six credit hours each semester in order to receive scholarship. These scholarships will be a prorated amount of the full-time award.
    • Awards are based on transfer GPA . The GPA is calculated on academic courses taken from each accredited institution attended. Consideration will be given to the college-level curriculum the student has taken.



    Applying for Private Scholarships

    Ursuline College is a member of Financial Aid Web Search Through the Web (FastWeb). FastWeb is the largest and most complete scholarship search on the Internet. It provides access to a searchable database of more than 400,000 private scholarships, fellowships, grants, and student loans. FastWeb is a free service. It is best to start your search for private scholarships early – usually in December, for the following academic year. Scholarship application deadlines are commonly in February through May.
