    Ursuline College's use of CARES, CRRSAA, and ARP federal grant funding

    In May 2020, Ursuline College was notified that it would receive federal funding made available by the CARES Act (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security), to help the College and students who have incurred expenses due to the disruption of campus operations because of the pandemic. The information below complies with the mandated reporting as it relates to the acceptance of funds distributed directly to students.

    Ursuline College signed and returned to the Department of Education the Certification and Agreement and the institution intends to use no less than 50% of the funds received under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students. 

    Total Award

    Ursuline College will receive a total of $4,388,960  under Section 18004(a)(1) and Section 18004(a)(2) of the HEERF I, II, III. Of this amount, at least $1,803,203  will be provided directly to students impacted by campus disruptions due to COVID-19.

    Student Emergency Financial Aid Grants

    The estimated total number of students at Ursuline College eligible to participate in programs under Section 484 in Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 and thus eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act is 1,029 in the 2021-2022 academic year and was 730 in the 2020-2021 academic year.
